Hygiene Health™ is an Independent Dental Hygiene Practice, in Kittery (right next to Portsmouth) offering comprehensive, patient-centered dental hygiene services in a comfortable, pressure-free atmosphere. Our goal is to prevent oral disease and preserve healthy tooth structure. We are an alternative setting from traditional dental offices for your dental hygiene services. We focus on preventing cavities and stress gum health, offering dental cleanings for all ages.
Independent dental hygiene is an idea whose time has come! The key to total body health is a clean and healthy mouth. New patients exclaim "I love getting my teeth cleaned!" Come see what we are all about 😀

She really does want world peace.
Amy has more than thirty years experience in the field of dental hygiene. She has practiced in the seacoast for the last twenty years. A periodontal therapist with compassion for people and their oral health, she invites you to come in and talk with her about your concerns.
She's accomplished at working with children and geriatrics and everyone in between. Amy cares about patient comfort, both physically and emotionally while in her chair. Her goal is to help you maintain a healthy mouth and have a pleasant experience at Hygiene Health™
Amy lives in Eliot with her husband and enjoys long walks, short runs and riding their tandem bicycle.
Only two states ( Colorado & Maine) allow independent dental hygiene practice.
In June 2017, Susanne successfully advocated to change the state dental law allowing part-time working moms (like herself) to apply for independent practice status. #NeverthelessShePersisted.
